Two of the awesome features of the Cameo 4 are the built-in roll feeder and crosscutter. These make cutting from a roll of material (like vinyl or heat transfer) really simple. And you don’t have to deal with separate pieces because both are built in to the machine. Keep reading to find out how you can use them.
The Roll Feeder
The trailer model feeders hold 3000lbs. Of 3/4 inch cubes. These feeders will feed in piles at 10 ft. Intervals of in a steady trail of feed. You can set the feeder to dump from 2 to 8 lbs. These feeders are capable of handling cubes, any size, ground feed of any combination thereof.

The built-in roll feeder is located inside a tray at the front of the Cameo 4. To open the roll feeder, gently slide out that tray completely.
Note: When opened all the way, the roll feeder tray sticks out about 8 inches from the machine. If you find that the tray is sticking out about only 4 or 5 inches, the tray may be caught and may not be sliding out all the way. Gently continue to pull on the tray until it is out all the way.

- Feeder MC 4 conductors, stranded, insulated with heat and moisture resistant crosslinked polyethylene (type XHHW-2 or RW90), phase identified and cabled with suitable fillers (when required) and green or bare ground conductor. Cable core covered with binder tape and aluminum or galvanized steel interlocked armor. Cost effective alternative for conduit and wire.
- 3.5L automatic pet feeder you can feeder your cat up to 4 times per day with adjustable portions according to your cats need, the feeding schedule can also be customized, because you decide what time your feline friend will eat to help your pets keep good diet. Large capacity can make your life time much saver while you are away from home 2-3 days.
With the tray all the way out, flip open theinserted piece to reveal where you can place the roll feeder. There are two endpieces you’ll also flip up, and this is where your rolled material will rest.Slide the right end piece to match the width of your material—either 9 inchesor 12 inches.
Place your rolled material on the roll feeder. Take the end piece and feed it through the roll feeder slot. Then feed it into your machine using the Load button on the touch panel. Make sure the material is feeding straight into the machine.
When you’re finished using the roll feeder, remove the roll of material, fold the pieces back down, and slide the tray backinto place.
The Crosscutter
The crosscutter is located on the back of theCameo 4. You can feed your design cut on your rolled material through the backand use the crosscutter to make a clean, straight cut to separate the designfrom the rolled material.
Make sure to set things up in Silhouette Studio® so that your cut will feed through the Cameo properly. First, set your cutting mat to “None” in the Page Setup panel. Next when you go to the Send tab before you send your design, click the gear icon in the bottom right corner to open up the advanced settings. Change the Feed Option to “Feed” and set how much of the material you want to feed through. Don’t worry about getting the measurement exactly right because you can always use the arrows on the touch panel of your Cameo to adjust the feed as needed after you’re done making your cut. Next send your design to your machine.
To use the crosscutter, make sure your design feeds through the back of your machine at the end of your cut. Release the locks on both sides at the top of the crosscutter cartridge and lower the crosscutter track. Slide the crosscutter across the track to cut your material. When you’re finished, make sure the crosscutter is on either side of the track, lift the track back into place, and fasten both of the locks.
The IoT explosion may have made your house smarter, but it has also created a crowded battle for bandwidth that you’ve likely experienced in the form of network lag. Luckily, there’s a technology that can make peace between your router and multiple connected devices. It's called MU-MIMO.
What is MU-MIMO technology?
MU-MIMO is an acronym that stands for multi-user, multiple-input, multiple-output. You can think of MU-MIMO as a WiFi mediator, helping your router communicate with multiple devices simultaneously to drastically reduce wait times and speed up your network. Basically, MU-MIMO divvies up the available network bandwidth into separate streams that share the connection equally.
MU-MIMO vs MIMO
As MU-MIMO is a fairly new technology, having come about within the past few years, you may be familiar with its predecessor: MIMO. MIMO, also known as SU-MIMO or Single User MIMO, is just what it sounds like— only a single user or wireless device can communicate with the router at a time.
Therefore, to support the increasingly connected home, MU-MIMO support should be at the top of your list when evaluating your next hardware purchase— from routers to laptops, automatic cat feeders, and everything in between. (Check out this product list by the Wi-Fi Alliance to learn of devices with MU-MIMO support.)
Now, what about those numbers 2x2, 3x3, 4x4..
What is 2x2 MU-MIMO, 3x3 MU-MIMO, and 4x4 MU-MIMO?
These numbers— 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4— refer to the variations in a MU-MIMO router, or rather, the number of bandwidth streams— two, three, or four— that the router has.
While routers can have a varied number of streams, most phones, laptops, game consoles, and other common devices are usually only 1x1 or 2x2, meaning they support only one or two streams.
Do I need MU-MIMO technology?
MU-MIMO compatibility is the difference between your devices having to queue up for bandwidth or being able to send and receive information at the same time at equal speeds. Free vst plugins. Free recording studio. For example, if you have a 2x2 phone, a 2x2 laptop, and a 4×4 router, but they don’t all support MU-MIMO, the router would only be able to communicate with the one device at a time, using just two of its four available streams.
So, do you need MU-MIMO technology?
